Description

If you’re looking for a dish that’s bold, flavorful, and irresistibly tender, these Cajun Garlic Butter Steak Bites are just the thing! This recipe brings together the rich, hearty flavor of perfectly seared steak with the zesty punch of Cajun seasoning and the comforting warmth of garlic butter. Whether it’s a weeknight dinner or a crowd-pleasing appetizer, these steak bites are a surefire hit.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs beef sirloin steak (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: Prep the Steak

Pat your steak pieces dry with paper towels to ensure a good sear. Toss the steak bites with Cajun seasoning and black pepper, making sure each piece is well-coated.

Tip: Let the seasoned steak sit for about 10 minutes at room temperature. This helps the seasoning penetrate and ensures even cooking.

Step 2: Sear the Steak

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil. Once the oil is shimmering hot, carefully place the steak bites in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes without stirring to develop a beautiful crust. Flip and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until browned but still tender. Remove the steak bites and set them aside.

Personal Note: The sizzling sound and the tantalizing aroma of steak cooking is pure magic—my kitchen feels like a cozy steakhouse every time I make this dish!

Step 3: Make the Garlic Butter

In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Add the butter and let it melt. Stir in the minced garlic, cooking until fragrant—about 1 minute. Be careful not to let the garlic burn!

Step 4: Combine and Garnish

Return the steak bites to the skillet, tossing them in the garlic butter until well-coated. Sprinkle with fresh parsley for a pop of color and fresh flavor.

Notes

  • Serve these steak bites over rice, mashed potatoes, or alongside a fresh salad for a complete meal.
  • Leftovers? Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in a skillet over low heat for best results.
